The DS400 pressure transmitter and display incorporates an award-winning, stainless steel globe housing, 2 PNP switch contacts and is designed to be ATEX approved for use in a hazardous area!

The requirements of modern measurement devices regarding functionality, precision, longevity and safety are rising continually With the DS 400 series the product has consequently advanced to include approved functionality for applications in the food and pharmaceutical field

For example, the DS400 incorporates an award-winning, stainless steel globe housing ( IF Product Design Award 2006 ), 2 PNP switch contacts and is designed to be ATEX approved for use in a hazardous area.

The globe housing has been designed to be suitable for harsh environments and applications which do not allow contamination of the surface.

Additional features include.

* nominal pressure ranges from 0.1 bar to 600 bar.

* integrated 4-digit rotatable LED-display.

* process pressure ports with stainless steel diaphragm (flush welded), high temperature cooling elements.

* 2 freely configurable contacts.

The excellent combination of precision pressure transmitter, intelligent pressure switch and digital display device and ATEX approval for 2 wire devices has resulted in an intelligent electronic pressure switch which can ultimately be installed in hazardous / explosive areas - this is a unique combination of features to the pressure measurement and control market.
