This latest offering in the ISA Technical Conference Series provides crucial information for air quality compliance directors and managers, environmental engineers and technicians, power producers, and others concerned about meeting the EPA NOx regulations as well as preventing explosions in utility and chemical plants.
On Monday, 10 November participants can choose to attend a one-day education programme.
Boiler Burner Management Systems-Meeting NFPA Standards: Instructor Jerry Gilman, a 37-year veteran of Proctor and Gamble, draws from his wealth of experience with boiler control systems and boiler start-ups to present a complete overview of current thinking on boiler systems, including maintenance and safety.
Among the topics conference speakers will discuss on Tuesday, 11 November, are the monitoring technologies, sample acquisition methods, and monitor manufacturers currently used by electric utilities; Continuous Emissions Monitoring Systems (CEMS) compliance and cost containment; surge protection of electric utility stacks; and draft control in fired heaters with low NOx burners used in the refining and petrochemical industries.
Participants also have the opportunity to view and discuss emissions monitoring technology at an exhibit occurring simultaneously with the conference.
NOx Emissions and Source Monitoring takes place at the Trump Plaza in Atlantic City on 11 November with the Boiler Burner Management Systems-Meeting NFPA Standards course preceding it on 10 November.
