Jensen developed the first biometric network security product for Microsoft and Novell platforms, architected the first state-wide welfare identification system to use biometrics, and developed the first affordable biometric fingerprint scanner.
Jensen joined Saflink in August 1992 and served as Chief Systems Engineer, Director of Technical Services, and Vice President of Engineering before assuming the CTO position.
Prior to joining Saflink, Jensen was a member of the technical staff of TRW, involved in the research and development of image processing, signal processing, high volume data storage and high bandwidth datacommunications technologies.
He received a BS in electrical engineering from California Institute of Technology.
Jensen was a co-author of HA-API, the first biometric industry standard, and has helped to file a number of patents relating to biometric hardware and software.
