ISA has announced the release of an updated 2nd edition of the ISA Handbook of Measurement Equations and Tables, edited by Jim Strothman

ISA has announced the release of an updated 2nd edition of the ISA Handbook of Measurement Equations and Tables, edited by Jim Strothman.

This expanded and improved version provides hundreds of essential equations and tables to help select, operate and maintain measurement devices.

It will enable engineers and technicians designing and controlling industrial processes to find answers needed to solve day-to-day problems.

It is also a useful reference tool for engineering students.

Jim Strothman, editor of InTech magazine during the 1990s, says that in editing the book he followed a single eight-word doctrine that had guided him in more than 35 years of writing and editing high-tech publications: "Knowledge consists of knowing where to find it".

The new edition adds chapters packed with tables and equations for Industrial Communications Buses, Safety, and Environmental Measurements.

Tables and equations have been added to all the previous edition chapters covering Units of Measurement, Pressure, Flow, Temperature, Level, Humidity, Electrical and Viscosity measurements.

This handbook was designed to speed technical problem-solving so professionals can do their jobs better and faster.
