ISA Announces POWID 2008 Symposium Dates
ISA will host the 51st annual POWID symposium, and, in conjunction with EPRI, the 18th annual joint ISA POWID/EPRI Controls and Instrumentation Conference in Scottsdale, Arizona, from 8-13 June 2008
This conference gives power industry leaders information on the latest innovations in instrumentation, automation, security, and business systems technology Technical sessions, tutorials, social events, an exhibit, and a group event will be the highlights of the event, located at the Hilton Scottsdale Resort

Abstracts may be submitted for the conference session presentations until 15 January 2008.
Conference sessions will focus on power plant control advances, productivity technologies, nuclear power instrumentation and control resources, power plant safety and training, control and information systems security, and turbine control systems.
In addition to the informative sessions and paper presentations, ISA training courses, standards committee meetings, and an annual awards luncheon will also be held during the conference.
EPRI, the co-sponsor of the conference, conducts research on issues of interest to the electric power industry in the United States.
EPRI is an independent, nonprofit organization funded by the electric utility industry.
