The Isatec OPC Server is designed to allow the integration of the Argus 6012 into process, validation, visualisation or other control systems.
The bi-direction communication capability of the software allows data to be transmitted to and from the device; this enables the Argus 6012 to communicate remotely and automatically.
This is particularly useful as the Argus 6012 can be used with up to five sensors for barcode control and two sensors for presence detection which gives a comprehensive solution for multiple inspection tasks on a wide range of products.
As an example, in an inspection system the batch information and barcode would be written to the device at the start of the batch to automatically set the scanners to detect the desired barcode.
Whilst in the production run the reject, product data and visualisation can be read automatically through polling of the device and stored as required.
