In addition, the place of contamination can be accurately pinpointed and even visually printed onto the product or pack using the Ishida new X-ray printer.
The advanced Ishida Seal Tester incorporates a special vision system to read label information and reject packs where the label is missing, incorrectly positioned or contains inaccurate information or unreadable bar codes.
The latest R series weigher has been specifically designed to handle fresh meat.
Whereas traditional weighing systems have been using either static scales or linear weighers, the new weigher utilises the traditional circular multihead design and incorporates stainless steel rotating screws in each of the radial feed troughs, which allow a controlled product supply to the weigh hoppers for even very sticky meat.
As a result, says Ishida, speeds of up to 15% higher than the best linear system can now be achieved.
"Customer feedback from the food industry is influencing our new product development in two main areas," explains Paul Griffin, Marketing Director of Ishida Europe.
"The first is the continuing demand for automation, which is leading to the development of weighers and equipment to handle traditionally 'difficult' products such as fresh meat, poultry and ready meals.
At the same time, the drive for automation has led to a requirement for effective, automated inspection and quality control systems to provide quality assurance for both manufacturers and the consumer.
"Our stand at Foodex-Meatex will highlight our very latest models in both these areas". Request free introductory details about products from Ishida Europe ...
