Optical Flame Detectors add to the ISL
Capability
Multi-spectrum, electro-optical flame and fire detectors for use in specialised environments such as paint spray booths, clean rooms, compressor and generator rooms, paint and spray can filling lines
Conventional fire and heat detection systems are well established, but in the specialist areas of smoke and flame detection advances in techniques continue to be made Now, Intelligent Security can offer Fire Sentry Corporation's advanced range of multi-spectrum, electro-optical flame and fire detectors, specifically developed for use in specialised environments such as paint spray booths, clean rooms, compressor and generator rooms, paint and spray can filling lines

The core technology of the units is based on that developed for sophisticated missile detection systems, as well as patented WideBand infrared detection software, which ensures rapid, accurate, and reliable detection of all types of fires.
The SS4-A multi-spectrum detector senses radiant energy in the UV, visible and wide band IR spectrum.
The radiant energy from all types of flame will trigger the detector, with a response speed of 2 to 5 seconds.
The field of view is the widest in the industry with a 120deg cone of vision, enabling greater coverage from each detector.
The greater sensitivity of the SG4 also increases the volume covered by each detector by a factor of 4.
The FS-7 electro-optical detector provides a fast flame response within the specialised environment of semiconductor manufacturing.
Here solvents, vapours and chemicals together with the polypropylene within the workstation itself form a very real hazard.
The FS-7 offers an intelligent, two stage response to a fire, a 5 second alert state which allows a few seconds for the fire to self extinguish, if not a full alarm is given after another 5 seconds.
The FS10R is an advanced multi-spectral, infrared electro-optical flame detector, developed specifically for liquid paint or powder coating spray booth applications.
Based on a tried and tested system the new FS10R is a 'unitised' flame detector, meeting the need for a stand-alone capability.
The wide band IR, near band IR and visible sensors combine with the ISL advanced signal processing software to give a highly sensitive and fast response.
