Kolon Industries to provide membrane fibres and modules for the ITT Reuse Systems and Drinking Water Systems, strengthening the ITT capabilities as a water treatment solutions provider
ITT continues to strengthen its capabilities as a water treatment solutions provider.
Kolon Industries has signed an agreement to exclusively supply membrane fibres and modules for the ITT Membrane Bioreactors which are used in Reuse Systems and Drinking Water Systems.
Kolon Industries will also support and provide ITT with long term membrane fibre and module development.
"The technology of the Kolon membranes and modules further strengthens the ITT water and wastewater portfolio and enhances the ITT position in water treatment," said Mike Dimitriou, Membrane Project Director.
Kolon Industries, originally Korean Nylon, is a US$4.8B Korean based global supplier of polymers, resins, chemicals, textiles, membranes and plastics supply company.
Their membrane division (sales US$15M) started in 1966 producing membranes for dialysis units.
The Advanced Water Treatment division of ITT specialises in system solutions for biological, filtration and disinfection treatment of water and wastewater processes in both industrial and municipal applications.
