New range of hydraulic powered vibrators

An Invicta Vibrators product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Dec 14, 2004

The new Invicta vibrators, designed for use in both static and mobile plant, will complement its established ranges and provide the hydraulic drive units frequently requested by end users and OEMs

The Invicta Vibrator Division of Grantham Engineering Limited, established world-wide for over 40 years as a manufacturer of rotary electric and pneumatic vibrators, has now introduced a range of hydraulic vibrators.

Invicta envisages that the new vibrators, designed for use in both static and mobile plant, will complement its established ranges and satisfy the growing demand for hydraulic drive units expressed by both end users and OEMs.

Two different designs of hydraulic vibrator are available.

The first operates in the same manner as the L-Series rotary electric vibrators and induces a circular or elliptical motion, when installed as a single unit.

It offers customers an alternative to electric power for driving vibratory screens, feeders, conveyors etc These models are identified with the prefix, HV, and range from the HV 25 with a centrifugal force output of 7711 Newtons up to the 103005 Newton HV 60 unit.

The second vibrator design features the hydraulic drive and two opposing sets of rotating weights geared together in a single casing.

This type generates a linear vibration in the same way as motor-driven exciter units.

The first model in the range is the HVL 50 and produces a maximum force of 150093 Newtons with a shaft speed of 1150rpm.

Invicta is continuing to expand all its ranges of vibrators to meet demand.

Other recent developments include additions to the L-Series, such as the small 6-pole units designed for use in the food industry, and the certification of the EBK series of explosion-proof vibrators as satisfying the requirements of the EU ATEX Directive.
