Invicta Vibrators have a new technical brochure describing recent design advances in its L Series rotary electric vibrators, which have ATEX and UL approval for use in hazardous, dusty areas

The Invicta Vibrator Division of Grantham Engineering has published a new technical brochure describing recent design advances in its L Series rotary electric vibrators The brochure is mainly devoted to the new BLz Series of vibrators - suitable for use in normal environments as well as environments where dust is defined as a potential hazard

The EBK and ULBK ranges of vibrators, suitable for use in specific, hazardous areas, are also described in the publication.

BLz Series vibrators have now superseded the equivalent BL and BK models, which have been used extensively throughout the world.

To comply with new European legislation, however, the BLz Series has also been certified for use in Zones 21 and 22 areas, where dust, as defined by ATEX 95, Directive 94/9/EC, is a hazard.

BLz Series models have the same external dimensions and force outputs as equivalent BL and BK models.

EBK vibrators are designed to Eexd standard and are suitable for use in Zones 1 and 2 areas, where flammable gases, vapours and mists are potential hazards, as defined by ATEX Directive 94/9/EC, (ATEX 95) (II 2 G).

EBK20 - EBK40 vibrators are certified for gas groups IIA and IIB; EBK45 - EBK75 for gas group IIA.

ULBK vibrators are certified by Underwriters Laboratories, to File No.

E74479 (USL-United States and CNL-Canadian) standards for use in Class 1, Groups C and D (gas) and Class 2 groups E,F and G (dust) environments up to 600v.

Full dimensional, mechanical and electrical details of the BLz, EBK and ULBK ranges of vibrators and of the SFL range of single flange vibrators are provided.

Brief details of Invicta twin-flange vibrators, hydraulic vibrators, quick-release mountings and control equipment are also included.

All information is presented in English, French and German.
