IWM utensil washers added to Water Technology List

An Industrial Washing Machines product story
Edited by the Processingtalk editorial team Nov 5, 2008

Industrial Washing Machines's (IWM) EDi range of utensil washers has been added to the government's Water Technology List, which recognises products that protect the environment by saving water.

The company said the range's appearance on the list means that it qualifies for the Enhanced Capital Allowances (ECA) scheme operated by the Department for Environment, Food and Rural Affairs (DEFRA), which means 100 per cent of the capital cost can be offset against corporation tax in the first year.

IWM's utensil washers are suited to meet all the general washing requirements of the bakery, butchery, ice cream, catering and food manufacturing industry sectors.

The range has a compact and hygienic stainless steel construction and incorporates an integrated recirculation system that minimises water usage.

The design is complemented by an electronic control system that makes the machines safe, easy and convenient to operate and optimises energy efficiency.

The EDi cabinet utensil washers from IWM guarantee that the highest standards of cleanliness are met, eliminating rewashing and the risk of costly product contamination.
