Jackson Products has launched a new CE marked EN379 approved, lightweight, auto darkening welding filter (ADF) the 'Huntsman LX' with a 90mm x 110mm window for use in welding helmets

This new filter, complementing the existing range of Huntsman auto darkening filters, has been designed to fit in most Huntsman welding helmets and other branded helmets for use in MIG, MMA and TIG welding, down to 20Amps The welder can externally adjust the darkness shade between shades 9-13 and using two large adjustment control knobs on the rear, steplessly adjust the sensitivity: because in certain welding applications it is necessary to vary the delay to clear after the arc has been extinguished, the delay time can be adjusted between 0.2 - 0.9 seconds

It has clear user graphics as well as a stylish external shade adjustment knob.

Features of Huntsman filters are their reliability and quality.

In this filter, when the arc is struck, it takes less than 0.5 milliseconds to switch from clear shade 4 to dark giving the welder all-round flexibility ensuring eye safety for a wide range of luminescent arc applications.

The operating temperature range is from -5C (23F) up to 55C (131F).
