Jackson acquires welding helmet
manufacturer

Jackson Safety, a global manufacturer and distributor of personal and industrial safety products, has purchased Safemaster, of Tampere, Finland, a market leader in welding helmets in the Nordic Region

The Company founder, Reijo Lehtonen, has developed a unique range of welding helmet products, which do not exist within the Jackson Safety portfolio Their range of products include light weight combination helmets for both welding and grinding applications, hard hat welding helmet combinations and an innovative welding helmet approach for respiratory applications

This family run business is led by Reijo and he will join Jackson Safety to continue driving sales of the Safemaster and other Jackson Safety products within the Nordic Region.

He will also assist the entire Jackson team with his customer, product and industry knowledge and will report directly to Phil Chew, Managing Director, EMEA (Europe Middle East Asia).

Phil Chew said: "Safemaster, with its unique range of welding helmets, fits perfectly into the Jackson Safety strategy of expanding our welding safety product lines to continue our international market penetration".
