Intrinsically safe temperature data logger
The JR-1001 intrinsically safe temperature recorder is an electronic recording device designed to measure and record changes in temperature at user set intervals in hazardous areas
One application is in the checking the re-heating of frozen foods for serving during long international flights.
In this application, it is vital that the frozen dishes are reheated to the correct temperatures for the correct time before serving.
This ensures food safety and passenger satisfaction.
It also answers the question "is it necessary to replace or simply re-adjust".
The ACR-SR-8 offers the user the choice of up to eight channels, one for ambient measurement and seven for optional remote temperature sensors.
Precision thermistor temperature sensors are available to suit the application being undertaken.
The ACR-SR-8 data logger can be used in ambient operating temperatures in the range -40C to +70C.
A wide range of user selectable sensors are available for ranges from -60C up to +255C with accuracies, dependant on the temperature range of from +/-0.2C.
The sensors are attached to the logger via a plug-in screw terminal so that the sensor can remain in-situ, whilst the data is being investigated.
The logger is small at 107x74x22mm yet large in the abilities it offers 8-bit resolution (one part in 256), has a nominal battery operating life of 10 years and comes with a memory of 32kB, or 32,767 readings.
Sampling methods used are: selected, continuous (first in first out) or stop when full, with user adjustable sampling rates of between eight seconds to once every five days.
