Jekyll Electronic Technology, a leading UK designer and manufacturer of telemetry products for systems integrators and instrumentation engineers, has recently been acquired by the Lamerholm Group Jekyll, based in Aldermaston UK, sees the acquisition as a real boost for business

Engineering and manufacturing will continue at the Jekyll Berkshire base but additional sales and administration support at the Lamerholm Hertfordshire HQ will strengthen the Jekyll team.

The Lamerholm Group provides a complete design solution for electronic products from initial design through manufacture and test.

Specialising in embedded control and sensor technology Lamerholm offers solutions to companies in a wide range of different markets from NASA to the National Gallery.

Commenting on the acquisition, Ian Robinson, managing director at Lamerholm said " We are an ambitious company and the purchase of Jekyll offers a great opportunity for both parties.

We are primarily concentrating on integrating Jekyll systems and growing the enlarged business through economies of scale and access to a common client base." The latest Jekyll success includes sales in Malaysia where an SMS based data collection system has been successfully implemented with their Malaysian partner EMS Technologies.
