Two versions are available.
For control and instrumentation engineers, systems integrators and design engineers, the Alarm Telelog provides an ideal way to add communications to a low cost meter.
Its ability to generate an alarm that can be sent directly to a central location or via SMS to field personnel means they can be informed of abnormal or fault conditions immediately.

New distributors wanted for telemetry products
Having introduced a host of new products, Jekyll Electronic Technology, a UK manufacturer of industrial telemetry equipment, is looking to expand its current worldwide distribution network
In level applications, the Alarm Telelog can be programmed to alert operators when set parameters are exceeded.
When attention is required, the alarm sequence is activated.
This will prevent overflow conditions in addition to indicating low levels alarms where corrective action can be put into operation.
The efficiency of maintenance cover is therefore maximised as personnel are only alerted when an alarm condition arises.
Four input channels are available and these can be allocated to any of the eight call numbers that can be programmed.
Other applications for Alarm Telelog that are currently being trialled include access monitoring and leak detection.
The Pulsar Telelog works with any meter that provides a pulsed output and is ideal to interface with utility meters for accurate, up to the minute monitoring of energy usage.
Student accommodation is an ideal application where multiple devices can be connected together to a common GSM modem for transmission of data to a central software suite for analysis or billing purposes.
The collected data can also be analysed for trends in usage or to highlight abnormal conditions.
The IEC1107 (Cop6) protocol allows data collectors to use existing software to collect data from all meter types.
Communication is made possible with the integration of the Jekyll Telemodem2.
Two versions add to the versatility of the product.
The Telemodem2 'Freedom' is a zero-powered modem that can be powered directly from the telephone line, so no external power or batteries are required.
Alternatively, the 'Mobile' can be fitted to allow communications via a GSM/GPRS mobile phone network.
Telelog provides maintenance and utility engineers with a cost-effective solution for remote monitoring and data logging.
Applications engineers at Jekyll will discuss your exact requirements and customised configurations can be produced.
