Jiskoot has updated the existing sampling system at a North Sea oil production platform with a dual redundant pumped fast loop system enabling improved daily and weekly sampling for accurate allocation measurements Two pumps, for operation and standby, extract flow through a Byscoop take-off probe at approximately 5 cubic metres per hour around a bypass loop which includes densitometers and three Jiskoot 210 pneumatic cell samplers, one for daily and one for weekly duty and the third on standby for either period

IsoFraction, an LNG sampling system for terminals
Liquid Natural Gas receipt terminal operators have become very interested in sampling systems to monitor the quality of LNG received from suppliers, since the product can age during transport
There are 4-litre constant pressure receivers for each of the two collection duties, with automatic changeover.
A VA meter indicating flow rate in the loop is fitted with a switch to warn of low flow and a manifold provided for manual sampling allows the installation of three Proserv syringes as well as having valves for flushing the system and taking samples.
The sampling cabinet is fitted with two heaters maintaining its temperature at 30C and has a double tube fluorescent light fitting operated by a switch.
Automatic operation of the sampling system is controlled by the customer DCS and all electrical equipment is suitable for Zone 1 and Group IIB T3 gases.
