The MultiLube system is compatible with all pumpable oils and greases and can lubricate all types of gears, chains, bearings and moving components.
It is equally well suited to use in effluent plants, oil and chemical refineries, pulp, paper and steel mills, food processing plants and many other applications.
The system has the control unit, pump, reservoir, directional valve and pressure monitoring integrated into a single pumping unit, and a heating element allows it to function outdoors or in other cold locations.
This versatility is extended by the availability of grease and oil dosers for single and dual line systems, while auxiliary equipment such as spray and sliding surface nozzles and lubrication brushes can be used according to the lubrication needs.
The option to mount the system locally allows MultiLube to replace the need for manual lubrication in locations that are dangerous due to height or temperature extremes.
This option also means less investment, less piping, and less installation time is required, and makes the system suitable for both new and existing plant.
The MultiLube system features an easy-to-use control interface, which permits external control from a Safematic multi-channel centre, or from the customer's own logic or process control system.
Remote monitoring and control can also be achieved via SMS text messages from a GSM mobile phone.
Other benefits of the Safematic MultiLube system include: * Lubrication intervals can be set to anything between 1 minute and 999 hours * Lubricant can be topped-up quickly and easily * Two reservoir sizes are available * Pumping element features a pressure relief valve * Filling connection equipped with a safety valve * Reservoir monitoring level can be checked visually and electronically * Can accommodate different voltages (24V, 115V or 230V) * Offers a wide range of operating temperatures (-300C - +700C) * Increases profitability by improving service, reliability and use of resources * Incorporates a pre-failure warning device.
