Engineered sealing solutions provider John Crane has underlined its on-going commitment to UK customer service and product support by completing a significant refurbishment of its NW Service Centre

Engineered sealing solutions provider John Crane has underlined its on-going commitment to customer service and product support by completing a significant investment project to refurbish its North West Service Centre at Trafford Park in Manchester.

The move will allow the company to further improve the level of support it provides to its customers and also reflects the many other new-build and refurbishment projects that are being undertaken at John Crane Service Centre locations around the world.

The Centre has been upgraded in line with the John Crane's standard guidelines and as a result it is now able to boast state-of-the-art facilities.

It is housed within the new premises that were constructed as part of John Crane's recent GBP2m redevelopment of its Manchester site.

The facility has been designed in order to improve workflow through the various areas of the Centre and so generate the improvements in operating efficiency that will lead to faster turnaround times for service customers.

In addition to seal refurbishment, the Centre's fully trained and experienced personnel also provide a wide range of other product and customer support activities such as technical fault reporting and reliability improvement recommendations.

Direct customer liaison is another important feature of the Centre which encourages customers to be present when their equipment is undergoing the refurbishment process.

A round-the-clock on-site support service is also available from the Centre, which delivers the unparalleled John Crane industry expertise direct to customers at their own premises.

In addition to having the ability to service the vast majority of products within the extensive John Crane range, the refurbished facility is also a Centre of Excellence for the company's pharmaceutical mixer and high performance products.
