A new brochure details the Lase-A-Lign Ex system which provides a rugged, accurate and reliable measurement and alignment system designed for use in hazardous and potentially explosive environments

The brochure explains how Lase-A-Lign Ex is quality assured to the highest standards and ideally suited for many different applications in the petrochemical, oil, gas and pharmaceutical industries, where it can be used on rotating equipment such as pumps, turbines, compressors, blowers, motors and gearboxes The Lase-A-Lign Ex system minimises the risks involved when aligning equipment and taking measurements in extreme environments and the new publication emphasizes the durable design and ability to resist harsh operating conditions

Also in the brochure are details of the Lase-A-Lign Ex approved status with regard to both IP66 and IP67, and its ability to comply with the latest ATEX standards (II 2 G EX classification: EEx ib IIC T4) with regard to such hazards as electrical sparks, friction, mechanical knocks and static electricity.

The many diagrams and pictures in the brochure illustrate how, in addition to its horizontal and vertical shaft alignment capabilities, Lase-A-Lign Ex also provides a range of additional programmes to measure straightness/twist, vertical and flange-mounted machines, alignments of Cardan-shaft-coupled/centre-offset machines and angular error between two rotating shafts.

Details of the various accessories such as fixing brackets and Cardan fixture kits are also included in the brochure, along with information on the generous warranty that accompanies each Lase-A-Lign Ex unit.
