The services are centred around the Jorin ViPA particle monitoring equipment, which automatically analyses any particles, such as oil or sand, present in the process liquid.
This form of analysis is unique in providing details of size, quantity and concentration of each constituent within the process at process conditions.
However, the new service is not limited to ViPA related applications as Jorin has on hand a number of specialists in process design and operation.
"Our clients are expert in their own processes but are frequently lacking the data required to enable their problem solving," explained Jorin chairman John Roth.
"Our support helps them both to identify the data that can be cost effectively provided and to interpret this data".
Interpretation of results is made easier by the Jorin capability for processing large volumes of data, which enables thousands of data sets to be rapidly analysed.
Customers are therefore able to generate 'intelligent' specifications, and to apply solutions with clearly defined process benefits based on real process information.
The process support service includes testing services, the design of test programmes, engineering support and project management services; and aims to augment clients' existing in-house resources.
