temperature
The new inductive conductivity probe in the 202759 series, from Jumo, has been designed to comply with EHEDG guidelines, and meets the very highest hygienic requirements
The conductivity probe is fitted with a fast-responding integrated Pt1000 temperature sensor, and is made from Natur-PEEK, a special plastic used in medical technology It will be available with the usual hygienic process connections, such as a DN40/50 milk cone, clamp, Varivent, and SMS

Instruments that operate on the inductive method are used for higher conductivities (from about 100uS/cm to 2000mS/cm), and really demonstrate their advantage when the medium being measured is highly contaminated or tends to form deposits.
The classic field for this method is therefore the beverage industry, in filling and CIP installations, and crate or barrel cleaning plant.
Electrolytic measurement loses its measuring capability if the product forms deposits or there are oil or grease layers.
The inductive method is hardly affected by such problems.
So one can say, this method is practically maintenance-free.
Although a CIP installation can be considered to be an "unclean" section in a beverage factory, dairy or brewery, a section where there are no enhanced hygienic requirements, there are also measuring stations that demand high hygienic standards, such as those that are placed directly in the product.
The new Type 202759 inductive conductivity and temperature probe meets such demands.
The design has been implemented to comply with the EHEDG guidelines.
EHEDG lays down parameters that must be met by installations, piping systems and measuring stations in the food, beverage and pharmaceutical industries in order to achieve the highest levels of hygiene.
Keywords such as surface quality, freedom from gaps and choice of materials are very important here.
The new Jumo conductivity probe is fitted with a fast-responding integrated Pt1000 temperature sensor, and is made from Natur-PEEK, a special plastic used in medical technology.
Thanks to its outstanding mechanical, chemical and thermal characteristics, this plastic has really penetrated the beverage and food industries, alongside PVDF.
This sensor will be available with the usual process connections, such as a DN40/50 milk cone, clamp, Varivent, and SMS.
An immersion version and threaded types are also planned.
Since inductive conductivity sensors do not produce a normalised or standardised signal, the probes are primarily intended to be connected to the Jumo CTI-750 transmitter or the Jumo AQUIS 500 Ci.
And the sensor can also be delivered in an OEM version, for those users who are interested in building their own evaluation electronics.
