More recently he has spent 7 years as an Area Manager with Wilkinson Star, based in Manchester.
Following his initial product familiarisation training at Kemppi, Sheldon will join his sales area at the beginning of August and one of his immediate priorities will be to get to know the existing Kemppi customers and dealers within his region.
Sheldon said: "I have good knowledge of the welding market and getting to know my customers, whether direct or through dealers has always formed an important part of my work, a role I have always enjoyed.
Joining Kemppi is an exciting career move and I look forward to serving our customers throughout my sales area." Sheldon will have use of a purpose built demonstration vehicle allowing him to easily carry out demonstrations of the latest Kemppi welding equipment throughout his region.
Sheldon, who is married and has a daughter, lives in Pontefract, Yorkshire and is a keen sports fan, especially interested in motor cycling: he also plays guitar in a local band.
