Keyence launches its 10th generation video microscope with 3-D image display and 18 million-pixel resolution The VH-X digital microscope has become an indispensable tool for accurate inspection and analysis in a wide variety of laboratory, quality assurance and manufacturing environments

Superior depth of field is achieved that is up to 20 times greater than that of conventional microscopes, allowing accurate and sharp representation of any point even if the target surface has large depressions or protrusions.

The need to re-focus is completely eliminated, ensuring speedy observation.

The VH-X enables visual assessment of profiles that have been difficult to understand with 2-D images.

Coming standard with a simple to use 3-D display function, using the industry first D.F.D method to enable image composition using less sampling data, the VH-X allows the user to assess the profile at a glance and observe the target from various angles.

Magnified images are displayed onto the built-in 15" colour LCD monitor, allowing several people to monitor the target at once and discuss the images simultaneously.

Observation can be performed freely without the need to place the target on a stage and without the need to disassemble, break, cut or process the target.

High-resolution images can be recorded to the VH-X large capacity hard disk, capable of recording up to 3500 image files, or transferred through a LAN network or across the internet.

Alternatively images may be immediately printed in colour when connected to the Keyence 5 million pixel high-definition digital colour printer. Request a free brochure from Keyence (UK) ...
