With more new products on show, the 2004/5 version contains 567 pages of information on sensors, machine vision systems, measuring instruments, barcode readers, static eliminators, light curtains and other factory automation sensing and control related products.
New products featured include the the CV-2100 series high speed, digital machine vision system, featuring the industry's smallest digital camera along with inspection rates of up to 20,000 parts per minute.
Its unique 'vision flow' menu allows quick and simple setup even for beginners and its statistical processing functions enable optimum tolerance settings as well as convenient inspection history analysis.
Keyence also introduces its static elimination products, the SJ series.
Featuring the pulse AC method, the SJ-RW static eliminator bar delivers extremely high-speed static elimination as well as high precision ion balance.
Thanks to its incorporated sensor, ions generated are automatically and continually adjusted in order to maintain the optimum balance for neutralizing the detected charge.
Three independent alarm outputs allow quick identification of any abnormal conditions or unstable operation.
Compact blower and super small spot types are also available.
Find details of the type 4 SL-C series safety light curtain, covering zone variations from 140mm to 1260mm.
Its edge-to-edge detection design eliminates any 'Dead Zone', where the optical design allows light to be transmitted just 5mm from the edge.
Conventional light curtains have a large dead space at the end due to support brackets and connecting cables.
A muting and blanking module is also available.
Yet another innovation is the AP-CW/VW series, a range of miniature digital pressure sensors which offer a compact size of just 30mm x 25mm with a large LED display height of 11mm.
A line up of models allows pressures between -1 bar and +10 bar to be detected, with resolutions down to 0.0001 bar. Request a free brochure from Keyence (UK) ...
