The Renault F1 team are using a specially developed version of the Kistler RoaDyn Measuring Wheel System to gather data about the real-time performance of its Grand Prix car

The Renault F1 team are using a specially developed version of the Kistler RoaDyn Measuring Wheel System to gather data about the real-time performance of its Grand Prix car.

During testing, the measuring wheels are fitted in place of the standard wheels and the 6-component forces and moments are transferred to the on-board data logger.

Renault F1 and Kistler have optimised the RoaDyn measuring wheel design through extensive testing, utilising the resources of both Renault F1 and Kistler.
