Klaxon eliminates confusion with voice sounders
Klaxon Signals has expanded its Sonos and Nexus Range of fire alarms to include new voice enhanced variants, which combine normal sounder signals with a clear, synchronised voice message
A choice of sound outputs means there is a model to overcome most levels of background noise.
Products in the Nexus range are available as either a sounder or sounder-beacon.
The combination of powerful sound output and high output 5J xenon beacons makes the latter option a very powerful audio-visual tool.
All Nexus connections are made to the base and the head "clicks" into place, ensuring a fast and reliable installation.
Additionally, the head is fixed by quarter turn fasteners rather than four individual screws, resulting in further time saving and also accurate seal compression for weatherproofing.
Units are available in high output 105dB, 110dB and 120dB variants.
Wide voltage ranges of between 8 and 60V for DC units and 110/230V for AC units cover almost every conceivable type of power supply and enable distributors and OEMs to hold lower levels of stock.
