Approximately five billion KWh of electrical energy can be wasted in the UK alone each year through inefficient lubrication of gearboxes and compressors.
This alone could cost industry more than GBP3 Million per year.
In order to counteract this massive energy loss in line with the Climate Change Levy, Kluber Lubrication have developed a range of synthetic oils for gearboxes and compressors backed by leading OEMs.
With nothing more than a simple oil change using a Synthetic Kluber product, a worm gearbox is capable of running up to 15% more efficiently compared with a mineral oil; and a screw compressor achieves up to 5% more efficiency.
