The Kobold AUF provides a local digital indication (4 digits) for blind transmitters that use DIN43650 plugs for their 4-20 connection
The new Kobold AUF is a universal display unit usable in all 4-20mA transmission circuits Sandwiched directly between a standard DIN 43650 (Hirschmann style) plug and socket assembly, the unit is small, and easily installed
The AUF is the ideal way to get more information from your transmitter: now you can have your signal, and see it too.
The AUF is fully scalable through two programming buttons.
Programming capabilities include scaling, decimal point location, damping and, for units with a switch, the setpoint value.
Power is extracted for the AUF directly from the 4 - 20 mA loop, so no additional power supply is required.
The programming information resides inside the EEPROM memory in the AUF, making the unit immune to power failures for up to ten years in duration (time enough!).
