Korenix Technology recently released JetCard1204w/1208w, which are 4- and 8-port RS-232 universal PCI wide temperature communication cards The 2 cards are the world's first serial communication cards that support operation temperature from -40C to 85C, providing perfect solution for extreme industrial environments, such as building automation, security, billboard broadcasting, or any outdoor applications

In addition to withstanding extreme temperatures, JetCard 1204w/1208w use a high performance single chip solution OX16C954, 4-port Universal Asynchronous Receiver Transmitter, from Oxford Semiconductor.

Each UART channel in the JetCard offers data rates up to 921.6 Kbps and 128-byte deep transmitter and receiver FIFOs.

Deep FIFOs reduce CPU loading and allow utilisation of higher data rates.

Each UART channel is software compatible with the widely-used industry-standard 16C550 devices.

In addition to increased performance and FIFO size, JetCard 1204w/1208w also improve automatic software flow control by using XON/XOFF, and automatic hardware flow control by using CTS#/RTS# to prevent FIFO over-run.

Moreover, JetCard 1204w/1208w come with 15KV ESD surge protection, protecting your communications from power instability.

JetCard 1204w/1208w has easy-to-install driver that supports Windows 98/Me/NT/2000/XP/2003 and Linux.

All JetCard Series has CE/FCC certificates and support global 5 year warranty.
