Koch Knight introduces the Kryptoknight durable, low-cost inert ceramic support media for catalytic applications in the processing and refining industries

Koch Knight, a leading innovator in corrosion proof materials and environmental heat transfer equipment, introduces its line of Kryptoknight inert ceramic support media for catalyst beds in chemical processing, ethanol refining and oil, gas and petrochemical refining Engineered for maximum durability, Kryptoknight inert ceramic support media is a reliable and economical support media for applications including ammonia plant shift converters, methanol production, and desiccant dryer and refinery applications

The Koch Knight line of Kryptoknight inert ceramic support media is designed to provide unparalleled chemical stability and mechanical strength, ensuring that the catalytic process is not disrupted.

Equally effective in vapour or liquid, high or low temperatures, Kryptoknight resists thermal shock and spalling.

Kryptoknight inert ceramic support media is available in three unique types to meet the demands of any application:.

1) Kryptoknight A: 99% alumina ceramic support media, designed for processes where steam may typically cause leaching of silica from the alternative aluminosilicate media.

High alumina media also yields improved performance when addressing polymerisation.

2) Kryptoknight H: a premium aluminosilicate ceramic support media with a 23 percent alumina content, an ideal formula for tough fixed-bed conditions such as hydrotreating and isomerisation.

3) Kryptoknight M: an economical aluminosilicate ceramic support media, comprising all the properties necessary for support media in molecular sieve and desiccant dryer applications.

The entire line of Kryptoknight inert ceramic support media is supported by the engineering expertise and experience of Koch Knight.

For more information on the chemical analysis, crush strength, sizes and typical properties of the Kryptoknight line, please contact Koch Knight.
