Secure liquid level detection using NMC
probes
The NMC liquid level sensor from Kobold uses the capacitive liquid level measurement method for fluid media, and operates almost wear-free
PTFE coated measuring probes built from stainless steel can be chosen for any length up to 3000 mm The electronic cartridge transforms the measurement based on the voltage change of a condenser into a percentage display or into an analogue 4 to 20mA signal

Capacitive level monitors for fluid media
The NCW Limit level control from Kobold Messring, Hofheim, enables secure protection against congestion or unintended emptying of tanks or reservoirs
Problematic apertures at holding tank base or at the side can be avoided with the sensor being simply and securely assembled from the top.
Different measuring tasks can be covered with four versions:.
* NMC-N: Standard version for metal tanks, inserted into the tank, the walls undertake the task of a second electrode.
It is applicable likewise for fluid foods as well as for water based solutions.
* NMC-T: Especially for operation in non-metallic holding tanks and for liquid media of lower conductivity, the probe assembly consists of an interior probe and a surrounding pipe of stainless steel serving as a reference electrode.
* NMC-S: The two probe sensor for non-metallic tanks is especially applicable for operation in aggressive media.
* NMC-H: The electronics of one stick probe of stainless steel is thermally insulated by a special intermediate piece so that the sensor technology can easily be used up to 125C.
