A new Vertical Centrifuge from Krauss-Maffei Process Technology has been designed specifically to meet the demands of the fine chemical and the pharmaceutical industries and in particular processors of pre and intermediate products, antibiotics, vitamins, agrochemicals and paint pigments.

Designed for quick and simple inspection, easy cleaning and clean in place operations and with the added advantage of no dead zones where product may become lodged, the new Vertical Centrifuge comes with the commitments to quality and reliability which have made Krauss-Maffei the leader in solid-liquid separation technology.

The new dynamic feed system for the centrifuge maintains an ideal distribution of the product independent of the concentration and volume flow of the slurry for consistent product production.

The Krauss-Maffei Vertical Centrifuge comes pre-assembled ready for connection to pipework and other engineering and with quick change filter media, hydraulically driven cover hinge and fully opening housing cover, which is easy to install and simple to maintain.

The design of the centrifuge allows for vertical discharge from the bottom of the machine, which gives maximum product evacuation.

A nitrogen purging system for residual heel removal is integrated within the peeler, leaving the process area free of hose nozzles and increasing operational efficiency.

The Krauss-Maffei attention to design detail and the vertical filtrate discharge means that the Vertical Centrifuge is space saving making it ideal for retrofitting into existing process lines and also for multiple line applications where space is at a premium.

Krauss-Maffei Process Technology are able to supply complete, integrated solid-liquid separation process lines incorporating thermal drying processes should this be appropriate.
