A new cost effective Stationary Mixer Dryer is designed especially for the effective, gentle mixing and drying of fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals

A new cost effective, Stationary Mixer Dryer, from KMPT UK is designed especially for the effective, gentle mixing and drying of fine chemicals and pharmaceuticals The Stationary Mixer Dryer incorporates a conical vessel, which holds the product to be dried, with a hinged cover in which is integrated a helix mixer

The cover of the vessel can be completely folded back, in an upward direction to give free and easy access to the vessel for filling or cleaning.

The vacuum tight vessel can be heated to give the Mixer Dryer the advantages of high efficiency drying at low temperatures.

Ease of cleaning and inspection has been considered a priority in the design of the Mixer Dryer with the hinged vessel cover folding back completely for full access.

The helix mixer is designed with a direct drive and requires just a shaft seal.

All seals are freely accessible and can be fully inspected when the equipment is open.

CIP nozzles permit efficient cleaning of the equipment.

Potential risk of product contamination is avoided in the vacuum tight design of the stationary mixer dryer and the integral filter system at the vapour vent.

As the shaft seal is positioned outside the product area, contamination via the shaft seal is eliminated.

If required, the equipment can be fitted with a gas-sealed mechanical seal which consequently operates completely wear free.

The simple design of the Stationary Mixer Dryer facilitates easy service and maintenance with no need for the removal of the mixer drive when shaft seals need replacing.

All peripheral equipment such as vacuum, heating, cleaning and solids handling systems are of modular design.

This enables a reduction in energy costs, reduces installation times, shortens commissioning times and minimises risk.

For companies looking for a cost effective, easy maintenance mixer dryer, the Stationary Mixer Dryer from KMPT UK offers a viable option.
