Leaders in solid-liquid mechanical and thermal separation technology, KMPT, have invested 15m Euros in the move to a new purpose built production plant in Vierkirchewn, near Munich in Germany

Leaders in solid-liquid mechanical and thermal separation technology, Krauss-Maffei Process Technology (KMPT), have invested 15m Euros in the move to a new purpose built production plant in Vierkirchewn, near Munich in Germany.

The state of the art production plant and head offices of process technology experts KMPT is designed to meet the latest engineering and production demands and logistic requirements.

The 22,000m2 site will enable customers to benefit from a new, well equipped laboratory and test centre and streamlined production of Krauss-Maffei centrifuges, filters, dryers and integrated systems.

Says Ian Livesey, Managing Director, KMPT UK: 'The massive investment in this relocation is an indicator of our commitment to our customers and the market in general.

The new facilities will enable us here in the UK to provide an even greater level of service, added value and cost benefits to our customers.

In particular the laboratory and test area will be a centre of excellence for innovation in separation technology.
