"Virtual Website" multilingual CD launched
A "Virtual Website" compact disc allows off-line display of the company Website information relating to the design, production and application for roll-press briquetting , compacting and granulating
A "Virtual Website" compact disc offered by KR Komarek allows off-line, CD-capable desktop or laptop PCs to display all the information available on the company Website relating to the design, production and application of roll-press briquetting, compacting and granulating equipment, including multilingual literature.
Organised into twelve sections visually represented on the Home Page, the CD invites the viewer directly into selected areas of information.
Major informative sections cover the origin and evolution of briquetting technology, an archive index of the Komarek-authored technical and case-study articles published during the past two decades (and available upon request), and a photo gallery of seven briquetting machines designed for different types of applications.
Multiple presentations of the company capabilities brochure, also available in print form, allow the viewer to select versions in English, German, Spanish, French and Russian languages.
Respecting the relatively recent KR Komarek introduction to Russian processing industries, the Russian-language version is augmented with a detailed overview of alternative machine designs and operating techniques developed for different applications of roll-press briquetting.
Other website sections acquaint the viewer with the KR Komarek briquetting research facility in Anniston, Alabama, that tests candidate materials for optimal briquet formation and develops machinery or techniques for new applications -- plus KR Komarek service capabilities in providing replacement rolls, repairs or reconditioning for all types of briquetting machines.
Custom-engineered roll-press machines from KR Komarek convert powdery, granular or shredded materials into sheets, sticks or briquets by squeezing them between two rotating rolls.
Cavities or pockets cut into the surface of the rolls determine the size and shape of the briquets.
A wide range of processing industries can use briquetting for: returning otherwise wasted particulates, dust or shredded materials to the product stream in solid form; locking-in blend proportions; making loose materials easier to handle, ship and meter through automated transfer equipment; minimizing dust; preventing bridging during storage in silos and tanks; or reducing the volume of discarded materials for more efficient disposal.
