Krohne has added a high temperature Coriolis mass flowmeter to its product range The Optimass 8000/9000 series provides mass flow, volume flow and density measurement for applications with process temperatures from -180 to 350C

This addition strengthens the company's range of Optimass mass flowmeter products which already comprises series 3000 mass flowmeters for low flow rate applications, as well as the world's best selling single straight tube meter, the Optimass 7000.

Krohne now has a family of Optimass mass flowmeters that provides measurement solutions for almost all applications in the chemical, petro-chemical, pharmaceutical and food and beverage industries.

The Optimass series 8000/9000 is available in five sizes covering a wide span of customer flow rate applications.

A complete range of process connections are available including all common flange patterns as well as hygienic and aseptic connections.

Options for the 8000/9000 series include integral or remote mounted electronics as well as factory fitted thermal insulation and fluid heating jackets.

The 8000/9000 series incorporates the Optimass innovative dual redundancy electronics concept.

This makes maintenance easy with "plug and play" interchangeability of electronic components.

The electronic modules are common across all Optimass series meters allowing customer spares holdings and costs to be kept to a minimum.
