Distributor for Denmark, Finland and Sweden

Indutrade Flow Technology Group (IFTG) and Krohne have signed a distributor agreement covering the sale of Krohne products in Denmark, Finland and Sweden for the next five years

The Indutrade Flow Technology Group (IFTG) and Krohne have signed a distributor agreement.

According to the contract, IFTG receives the exclusive right to distribute the whole Krohne product range in Denmark, Finland and Sweden for the next five years.

The contract with IFTG replaces the previous agreement with Fagerberg, a branch of IFTG.

Stephan Neuburger, Managing Director of Krohne, said: "We are glad that we were able to ensure that our customers in Scandinavia get the best solutions for their processes using Krohne measurement instrumentation".

"IFTG, which has an enormous standing in these countries, is the ideal partner to realize our business strategy".

Indutrade markets and sells components, systems and services with a high-tech content to industrial customers within selected niches.

The Group is divided into four business areas; Engineering and Equipment; Flow Technology; Industrial Components; Special Products.

The Indutrade Group contains about 60 subsidiaries, whose operations are concentrated in the markets in Northern Europe.

The main markets are Sweden and Finland, which jointly accounted for approximately 73 per cent of net sales in 2005.

In addition, the Group operates in Norway, Denmark, Germany, the Benelux countries, the Baltic States and Russia.

In 2005, Indutrade's net sales amounted to SEK 3,822 million.

The Indutrade Group employed about 1 534 people during 2005.

Most of the Indutrade subsidiaries specialise in a specific market niche, possess a high level of technical expertise and are highly familiar with their customers' production processes.
