If the flow is too rapid the separation of the liquid could prove ineffective.
By providing the machine operator with an accurate recording of the flow rate, the settings of the centrifuge can be adjusted accordingly.
Safety is also a core function of the H250.
If the flow to the centrifuge stops, the meter will send a signal to a control panel which emits an alarm and sets the centrifuge in stand-by position.
This avoids costly damage to the centrifuge caused by allowing it to run dry for long periods.

With all wetted parts in stainless steel or Hastelloy, the H250 is suitable for process gas or liquid temperatures up to 200C as standard (300C with HT adaptor), standard pressure ratings of 16 or 40bar, and flow rates from 25 to 100,000 litre/h water, or 0.7 to 600mu air, 10:1.
