Gmix precision gas mixing device from
HiTec Zang

The HiTec Zang gas mixing device was especially developed for R and D applications which demand the best possible accuracy and reproducibility

The HiTec Zang gas mixing device was especially developed for R and D applications which demand the best possible accuracy and reproducibility The apparatus is available in six different configurations

The number of mixing gases varies from 1 - 4, drawn either from the laboratory mains gas supply or from gas bottles with gas regulators.

The number of outlets varies from 1 - 4.

All gas inlets can be fed optionally with air, N2, O2 and CO2 and have a factory-made calibration for these gases.

Calibration for other gases is possible on request.

For each outlet a gas mix of up to 4 gases can be set up individually.

The physical units of the gas flow can be preselected as sccm (standard cm3/min) or g/min.

The parameterisation of the mixing values can be done optionally in percent or absolute values (e.g outlet 1 and 2 in %, outlet 3 and 4 in sccm).

At the per-cent input mode the total gas flow and the percent values are fed for the first three gases.

The remaining value is calculated automatically thus the sum will be 100%.

The actual concentrations are kept constant with high accuracy mass flow metering.

Advantages.

* Recording of value and event history.

* Compact design.

* Extensive control and protective devices.

* Available for stand-alone operation and as Ramos upgrade application.

Control / Protective Devices.

Both inlet pressures and outlet pressures are measured and controlled for safety reasons.

If the allowable inlet or outlet pressure is exceeded the gas supply will be locked and an alarm signal will be activated.

If a pressure deficit is detected (deficient pressure difference) an alarm signal occurs.

Operation with Ramos*.

On operation with Ramos the interface of the gas mixing device is integrated in the Ramos software.

The set values are specified by the operator.

The adjusted set values are logged in the operation report.

The measured flow rates are indicated numerically and the time course is displayed graphically. Request a free brochure from Labtex ...

* Ramos is a fully automatic Respiration Activity Monitoring System available from HiTec Zang and Labtex.
