L.A.B 2007 lays foundations for future

For the first ever L.A.B show in the UK, the visitor numbers were encouraging - reaching 1300 - and can only increase as the show gains in momentum.
The organisers now feel that there is a very strong platform on which to create an outstanding event which exceeds all of the exhibitor and delegate expectations.
88 companies exhibited at the L.A.B exhibition, showcasing a range of products and solutions for the pharmaceutical, chemical, medical and environmental industries as well as food and drink, and public and private sectors.

International Exhibitors fill up LAB Floorspace
Leipziger Messe announce that L.A.B - the European trade fair and conference devoted to analysis, bio and laboratory equipment - will showcase a wide range of international exhibitors and new products
Exhibitors came from countries around the globe, for example France, Germany, Finland, the UK, the Netherlands and the US.
"With L.A.B we found a perfectly organised show," commented Kai Holm, Area Sales Manager at Erlab.
"We will come back as exhibitors at L.A.B 2009".
"L.A.B 2007 was very well organised and the facilities were excellent," added Andrew Bell, Sales Manager at Anachem.
The comprehensive industry conference programme included presentations on prevalent issues including 'Laboratory Safety and Biosafety', 'Laboratory Equipment in Hospitals and Healthcare' and 'The Pharmaceutical Laboratory'.
Speaking at the conference, Graeme Parkin, Principal Research Scientist at the National Physical Laboratory, commented, "In my opinion, L.A.B offers an ideal forum for scientists and laboratory managers to meet and to share ideas.
The different conference streams address practical relevant issues of the industry".
The delegates represented the pharmaceutical, biotechnology, chemical, healthcare and food and beverage sectors.

L.A.B closed with a total of 88 exhibitors, 1300 trade visitors and approximately 120 conference delegates.
A biennial event, the next L.A.B will be held in the UK in the second half of 2009.
