On show for the first time at any UK exhibition will be two high-profile Leuze Mayser safety light curtains, including the IP68 rated Compactplus, that meets the requirements of SIL 3
First is the IP68 rated version of Compactplus, which also offers integrated Bus connectivity without the need for additional coupling devices and second is one of the strongest of any safety units, the Solid 4, with its torsionally stiff housing plus high immunity from EMC disturbances, for exceptional performance Both these safety light curtains will be the central focus on stand 50 at the Health and Safety 07 exhibition at the Reebok Stadium, Bolton [10th and 11th October] since they are spearheading some of the most significant advances taking place within the safety manufacturing industry
