Cologne-based Leybold Vacuum has sold four Coolvac 60,000 cryopump systems to Italian test-equipment maker Angelantoni, for use in an outer-space simulation pumping system
Cologne-based Leybold Vacuum has sold four Coolvac 60,000 cryopump systems to Italian test-equipment maker Angelantoni Leybold is the world's only manufacturer able to build systems of this design
These weigh a total of two metric tons and have a combined pumping speed of four times 60,000 litres per second.
Angelantoni in turn incorporates this equipment into an outer-space simulation chamber, to be sold to an end customer using it for experimental research on outer space.
