Litre Meter VFF meters will be providing the chemical injection measurement requirements on the chemical skid currently under construction by IFS of Houston, Texas, for deployment on one of the world's largest floating production units, designated P52 This is currently under construction and due to be floated out by state oil company Petrobras of Brazil to commence operation in 2006

Petrobras is the operator of the Roncador field - an oil reservoir near Campos, Rio de Janiero - and approximately 400km east of Brazil in the South Atlantic Ocean.
The P52 is replacing the Petrobras P-36 platform, which was damaged there three years ago.
When fully operational, P52 is expected to produce 180,000 barrels of oil a day, and nine million cubic metres per day of gas.
The Litre Meter VFF meters, to be supplied in a variety of sizes and pressure ratings, and with a contract value in excess of GBP230k.
Following long and complex negotiations, Sales and Marketing Director Matthew Armstrong expressed delight in landing the contract, also very important in landing Litre Meter as a supplier to the global oil industry.
