Charles Wemyss, Litre Meter owner and engineering director, said: "This move presents a major opportunity for Litre Meter to expand.
Our turnover has been steadily increasing over the past five years and we are on target to double our 2003 sales this year.
We had gradually outgrown our last premises.
We now have 30 per cent greater area which is designed to our specifications with well laid out production modules.
This will enable us to take on larger projects.
Staff also have improved working conditions and all of the staff from Aylesbury have followed us to our new premises.
We are continuing our policy of supporting local businesses.
We have close links with Aylesbury-based Linton Engineering, developed over 20 years and they remain our largest supplier".
To celebrate continued growth and mark the relocation, Litre Meter hosted an official open day at its new premises.
Customers, suppliers and staff gathered to toast the move at a champagne reception.
A plaque to mark the occasion was unveiled by Mrs Sheila Nuttall and Dr Roger Baker MA, AM, PhD, CEng, FIMeche, an international expert on flow metering from Cambridge University.
At the official unveiling Sheila Nuttall, mother of Charles Wemyss and widow of founder Sandy Wemyss, said: "I am delighted that Litre Meter is enjoying this continued success.
The company has certainly come a long way since its humble origins in a double garage in 1972.
These new premises are testament to all the hard work everyone has put in over the years to make Litre Meter such a success.
They are certainly an improvement on the premises Litre Meter moved from in Aylesbury".
Dr Baker added: "I have been aware of Litre Meter for much of my professional career and have been closely involved with the company for the past ten years.
I was delighted to be asked to assist in the official opening of its new premises.
I am pleased to help Litre Meter celebrate the inauguration of Hart Hill Barn.

Also in attendance was Paul de Waal, managing director of Sierra Instruments, who travelled from The Netherlands to be at the opening.
