Further scientific specialists at LK Group
Fast growing environmental land consultancy LK Group has boosted its technical team with the appointment of Dr Paul Quimby as Senior Geoenvironmental Scientist
After graduating from Manchester University with a 1st class degree in Environmental Science, Dr Quimby went on to secure a PhD before spending four years in a local authority.
At LK Group he will continue to undertake Detailed Quantitative Risk Assessment (DQRA) work and Part IIA investigations.
He will also conduct peer review work and keep his academic hand in by writing research papers.
LK Group has undergone phenomenal growth over the past 12 months and recently opened a third office, in Scotland.
The company now employs 34 people and has four divisions, specialising in:.
* Contaminated land appraisals and quantitative risk assessments; site investigations and geoenvironmental studies; land remediation design and management; and asbestos surveys and management.
* Remediation of sites infested with invasive plant species such as Japanese Knotweed, Giant Hogweed and Rhododendrons, and practical help in handling pollution incidents.
* Project management for the property development and land use industries.
* Testing and inspection of gas, electrical and water supply installations, including air tightness testing.
