High pressure pumps from Landia are helping a major linen hire company make significant reductions to its effluent charges and run its intensive cleaning operation without costly interruptions.
Requiring constant flow and pressure for its high quality processing of workwear and overalls, the North East-based company also required pumps that would not block if faced with objects inadvertently left in the pockets of some uniforms.
Landia used its wealth of experience to design in 15KW High Pressure Pumps, which have not only helped reduce the linen hire company's wastewater charges, but virtually removed any downtime because of their refusal to clog up.
Built with the Landia renowned chopper knife system, coarse particles in effluents heavily laden with dry matter are efficiently chopped and pumped to ensure continuous operation.
Equipped with 3000rpm motors, and with a pump housing and impeller specially designed for high pressure circulation, these Landia High Pressure Pumps are available in motor sizes from 2.2 to 18.5KW and can be delivered in a submersible or dry-installed in-line version.
