A submersible chopper pump from Landia has successfully provided one of the UK's leading water companies with a non-clog operation for its industrial wastewater reception tank

Waste oil containing numerous harsh solids such as rags, cotton waste and paper is pulverised by the innovative Landia knife system, which prevents large, troublesome particles from entering the pump Oil is then pumped off, at regular intervals from the reception tank to a storage tank - and with no breakdowns, there has now been no downtime for removal, cleaning or repair

Available with motors ranging from 0.55kW to 18.5kW, this highly efficient Landia Chopper Pump has a specially designed pump casing and impeller, which protects it from the other impurities also found in industrial wastewater.
