Landia easily mixes and pumps stormwater
solids
A Landia chopper pump and aerator are ensuring that a mix of stormwater and effluent do not cause clogging problems at a UK wastewater treatment works.
The Landia Air Jet aerator, combined with a Landia chopper pump, are effectively cleaning the bottom of a stormwater tank, before the mix of storm and wastewater containing harsh dry matter parts is sent to the WWTW by the drainage system The innovative knife system of the Landia chopper pump ensures that solids cannot get into the pump and clog it up, so there is no downtime for the water company or its contractor
Available with stainless steel internal parts, the low-maintenance Air Jet can also reduce unpleasant odours and provide supplementary aeration during peak periods of effluent oxygen demand.
Landia chopper pumps, with motors ranging from 0.55kW to 18.5kW, have a specially designed pump casing and impeller which protects it from impurities.
